A memorial service for Betty C. McDevitt (nee Carline), 78, of Glenwood, Ill. and Cedar Lake, Ind., will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 18850 Riegel Road, Homewood, Ill. She died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001. Betty was the beloved wife of Robert McDevitt; dear mother of Mark (Debbie) McDevitt of Carmi, Ill. and Kimberlee (Kevin) Goczeski of Arlington Heights; loving grandmother of five; and sister of the late Warren, Russell and Nonie Carline. Arrangements were made by Tews Funeral Home, Inc., Homewood. Robert McDevitt, 84, of Tinely Park, formerly Glenwood and Chicago, beloved husband of the late Betty, nee Carling; loving father of Mark and Kimberlee (Kevin) Goczeski; cherished grandfather of Cameron; dear companion of Dora Stofferahn; fond brother of the late Bernice. Mr. McDevitt was a career employee of Holsum Bakery, retiring as a district manager. He served as a pilot in the Navy during WW II. Robert was a participating member of the Cedar Lake Bible conference. Memorial Service 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 18850 Riegel Rd., Homewood, IL.
