MRS. CLEOPHA CALL

Cleopha Call, 102, of Sedan, KS, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000 at Pleasant Valley Manor Nursing Home in Sedan, KS.

She was born Mar. 11, 1898 at Lowe, KS to David Wilson and Virginia (Barwick) Call. She was a retired District Court Clerk and a member of the Rebekah Lodge for over 60 years the Coterie Club and the Sedan Christian Church.

Survivors include seven nephews, Nile Call of Wichita; Gene Call of Bartlesville, OK, Cecil Whaling of Cedar Vale, Don Whaling of El Paso, TX, Wilson Call of Bakersfield, CA, Roland Call of Mulvane and Doyle Call of Sedan; six nieces, Mona Keeny of Tucson, AZ, LaVerne Schilling of Haysville, Nila Souders of Bartlesville, OK, Evaleen Houser of Caney, Virginia Jett of Phoenix, AZ and Zelpha Wilson of Salina, KS.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, at 2:00 pm. in the Graves-Baird Chapel, Sedan. Interment will be in round Mound Cemetey, rural Sedan. Rev. Penny Goldberg of the Sedan Christian Church will officiate. Graves-Baird Funeral Home, Sedan, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials in her name have been established with the Sedan Christian Church or the Sedan Senior Citizen Center. Any contributions may be left at the funeral home.³
